"If you're visiting Duxford Imperial War Museum, or Cambridge, you won't find a better place to stay. Cambridge and the Duxford Airfield and Museum are only 30 minutes away, with very light traffic most of the time. The motel-like accommodation is great, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff are very affable, and the food is simple but very good. And of course there's a well-stocked bar. The prices are very keen, and there is a large car park. What more could you want?"

"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. "The room we had was a little small but adequate for a short stay. Price very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, food was good but they didn't replenish quickly enough. We had to ask for more coffee, pastries and eggs many times. However, the staff always acted to resolve the issues as soon as they could."

"The rooms. at the Essex Golf and Country Club are very nice and super clean. Be aware there is no in-room ac that we could find and just the smallest desk fan in the room but perhaps this is only an issue for 3 weeks a year! We arrived late (9.30pm) and check was smooth, went to the room and unpacked and notice in the room directory suggested the bar was open until 10.30pm. We meander up only to be informed that last orders was at 10pm so we would only be permitted to purchase one drink. Then...

"Für ein Flughafen Hotel ist es optimal. Nur wenige Minuten zum Terminal zu Fuß. Trotz der starken Auslastung war es sehr ruhig. Check-in zu Stoßzeiten dauert etwas, aber sehr freundliches Personal. Man kann abends ebenfalls gut Essen und Trinken - Pub Atmosphäre. Frühstück ist inklusive und gibt es bereits ab 4 Uhr. Alles optimal für die Nacht vor einem frühen Abflug."

"Room was reasonably clean. The bathroom needed a better clean. Leaky taps dripped all night. Breakfast selection was good. Parking was a nightmare when we arrived late one evening. Room key cards got cleared so had to go back to reception which was annoying given it was midnight and we had two tired kids with us."

"Ample parking, easy to find. Rooms are separate to the pub. Large bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Great breakfast served in the pub - delicious fresh fruit, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit juice. Toast cooked to order. Hot breakfast available at an extra charge. Friendly staff, all really helpful. A great find."

"Just a short stop as we had an early flight. The parking is free but the carpark is not well lit so not easy to negotiate with suitcases. The bed was comfortable but the room had a smell, I suspect it was the shower curtain. Was ok for the price."

"Room was not cleaned for the 2 nights we were there even after requesting. The walls were dirty as well. I was told by staff she would try and clean the room. Needless to say. We had 2 rooms booked neither was cleaned. Cleaning your surrounding property would also help with the perception of your Days Inn. I have never seen one so run down."

"I was overall happy with the service I received & the cleanliness of the room. All the staff i encountered were very helpful & friendly. The only small criticism I have is that on my second day during breakfast, they ran out of pancakes. The pancakes were so delicious I was a bit frustrated, but I understand it wasn't the fault of staff directly."
