"We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at this property both owners very welcoming it is in a quite location but it does have a road in ear shot of the property so if your a person with sleeping issues i.e noise from traffic then this may not suit you the rooms are very comfortable and clean. "A perfect overnight stay at a beautiful historic property. Our large room was very comfortable, including the softest sheets. Lounge with open fire to relax in. Breakfast was excellent with homemade granola and local produce perfectly cooked. The drive from the main road was longer and windier than we expected and if we are able to make a return visit we will try and arrive in daylight. Also a short walk from the car park to the front drive for anyone with mobility problems. "

"We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early."

"A fantastic last minute weekend getaway! So many activities for everyone. The grounds are stunning, the staff super friendly and the hot tup at the property was a major plus! Only criticism was the breakfast was a little chaotic (perhaps we arrived at the wrong time) but we were made to wait a while for a table and the selection of cereals / Savory / milk was very sparse ! The dinner was good, but my wife did receive marmite butter when we clearly stated she was coeliac! We will be back with...
