"Very kind staff. The cleaning was not very good as the did not seem very throrough e.g. had a dead mosquito at my mirror for 2,5 weeks. I had several issues with my room and the drain and missing towels etc. but the staff tried to solve it during my stay. The location is fine if you have a scooter but a little far in walking distance otherwise. Nice pool area, good laundry service, and nice with the little café to get and ice coffee in the morning. "
"The rooms were quite rundown, so much so that we asked to be moved, there were numerous problems. Our second room was reasonable. The lady in charge, Nancy at the front desk, is wonderful and she is very helpful and friendly. She wasn't there on the day we arrived, and on check-in we found her offsider rude and sulky, not even a smile. "Relaxing, beautifully landscaped beachfront resort about 10 minutes drive away from Saladan pier. Excellent staff and sunset view from the bar area that overlooks the beach. Highly recommended."
"Very nice hotel, well maintained and nice beachfront.
We had 2 adjacent rooms, family room with plunge pool. The room were clean and nice. Only issue was the inconsistencies of the water pressure in the room shower, some morning barely any water was coning out when the room next door was also using the shower and the water was having difficulty to drain.
But except for that we enjoy our time there. The rooms with 1 king bed and 2 single bed was perfect for our family so every one had their own bed. We also like the included breakfast near the beach.
It was low season so the price was very good but I thing at full high season price I will have find it to expensive."
"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed.
The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures.
The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :)
Sunsets were beautiful, and while the sea was not safe for swimming for half of our time there (very strong tides), the pool by the beach more than made up for it. "

Have to walk about 100ft to get to the EXCELLENT areas. Just letting you know if you have small children. Again highly recommend!!!"
