"A very good hotel, with motorcycle parking right outside.
The staff were very good, the rooms are very clean and in excellent condition.
Breakfast was good, and cooked fresh to order.

"Had read good reviews of this hotel, so decided to book and it was great. Was only here 1 night, but would definitely stay again.
Bedroom & bathroom clean and comfortable and a nice comfy bed too. Dinner was great as was breakfast next morning. Staff all friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Easy parking either in dedicated patron’s car park or on street. Great location for exploring the area and Castle Douglas itself is a nice town with lots of independent businesses and plenty cafes, delis...

"There was a room description error on Expedia's website, which the hotel staff were very quick to resolve at their own expense in a very professional manner. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms were generously sized. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again. "
