3. Bo Phut Beach

Bo Phut Beach is one of the longest beaches in Koh Samui, but is divided into distinct sections between Bang Rak Beach to the east and Maenam Beach to the west. In the middle lies Bo Phut town, affectionately referred to as Fisherman’s Village. As one of the oldest villages on the island it has been influenced by everything from traditional Thai and Chinese culture to French colonialists and more recently an influx of tourists. Fisherman’s Village provides an excellent mix of opportunities to entice even the most fickle travelers.

4. Choeng Mon Beach

Choeng Mun Beach includes a number of small bays and inlets located on northeast Koh Samui. The area is home to a few large and secluded resorts, as well as upmarket villas. Some resorts offer private beachfronts, while others operate on the main beach.

5. Nathon Pier

The Nathon Pier is often the first port of call for many travelers who visit the captivating tropical island of Koh Samui. It serves as the principal arrival and departure point for boats traveling between the island and mainland Thailand, Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Tao. 6. Chaweng Noi Beach

Chaweng Noi is just south of Chaweng, one of the busiest areas in Koh Samui. This tranquil stretch of sand is, however, nothing like the larger beach to the north. 7. Silver Beach

8. Bangrak Pier

The Big Buddha Beach Pier is a large square full of temple complexes built over the Gulf of Thailand. It sticks out from Bang Rak Beach and contains several intriguing stores, restaurants and spiritual structures.
