"Villa Saint Anges is a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed every minute that we were there. Our room was in the original building and overlooked the pool and the bed was very comfortable. We experienced a heat wave while visiting Aix so the big beautiful pool was enjoyed a lot! The staff couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant. We highly recommend this gorgeous property!"

"I secured a superior room with a balcony. The bedroom was so tight I couldn’t roll my suitcase in to unpack at all. The living area - although big enough was outfitted with a couch that was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sit on it. Truthfully it was so hot during our visit that we likely spent more time in our room than expected so it could have been a bit of that. "Outskirts of the city center of Aix-en-Provence. 15 min to the main center by bus 4. Bus stop is 3 min away by foot. Plenty of parking spot free of charge. Staff were very nice and friendly speaking English. The building itself is dated. Rooms faced with outside corridor like a motel, however we couldn't hear outside noise. Room was not big with quite basic amenity (no safe and mini fridge, provided Nespresso machine), although pretty clean which is more important. AC didn't work enough...

"Very comfortable place, spacious room, soft bed. Good value. Visit marred slightly by a recent name change of the accommodation that they'd not thought to put on the outside of the building, and a farcically slow check-in. Hopefully for the sake of future visitors, these are temporary issues."
