"We had a lovely stay at the Charles Pacific Grove property. The staff was very friendly and room was nicely decorated. The inn is very quaint with a nice sitting area to meet other guests. The breakfast was very tasty with fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries. We look forward to coming back soon!"

Office opens at 8am, checked out at 8:10 am there was no one at the front desk another customer was there and had been hitting the bell a few times with no response she finally knocked on the door behind the desk a few minutes later a person came out looked like he just got out of bed. "Unique boutique type hotel but the parking is tough, especially for an oversized vehicle! We arrived and there was a festival happening so all street parking and hotel parking was full. Thankfully later that evening, after the event, we were able to find overnight parking on the street. But beware, there are only a couple spots offered by the hotel. Our room was nice but the bed and pillows were dated, felt like it needed to be replaced because there was a pit in the middle of the mattress....

"I loved everything about the property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Good hot water. Has a tub if you need a bath rather than a shower. Plenty of places to put shampoo soap on the ledges. There was an ironing board and an iron, a nice walk in closet with plenty hangers and shelves. "Breakfast is in a room overlooking the ocean. It is served on beautiful table sittings. Their custard French toast might be the best French toast I've ever had by miles. I go back again just for that!"
