"Really good location, shops, restaurants club nearby, withing walkable distance, everything else within 20-25 minute cab ride. Bed very comfortable. Good size balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Only 2 negatives, no washing machine and the traffic noise in the early morning is loud. Overall I really liked it and would definately return. "

"The perfect quiet oasis in busy Nairobi! The boutique hotel is a beautifully converted elegant home in Lavington, Nairobi. Staff are exceptionally caring, efficient and friendly. Food, grounds, rooms and common areas are wonderful...a better than home away from home!"

"It was a little difficult to locate the place because there's no "Avalor Suites" sign visible anywhere in the building. However, after asking two random people we were able to locate it. The rooms were surprisingly super clean, and everything inside looked and felt new. The views from all the windows were amazing. You might need a few minutes to familiarize yourself with how hot water system works, cable TV and the super fast wifi. The host is genuinely super helpful if anything doesn't work as expected. I highly recommend this place. It feels like a little beautiful home as clean or even cleaner than the one you left back home. "

"Staff is very friendly and professional, the facility is in a great location, tucked away under nice natural surroundings. The toilet and shower were disgusting and badly needed repair. Shower had stagnant water which attracted mosquitoes . The water from the sink was brown and scary. I did not dare use it. The rooms without balconies feel dark and creepy. The food could be improved. "

"Very happy with my stay. The property is a small oasis in an otherwise busy area with a beautiful property. The staff are outstanding and always helpful and welcoming. There were heavy rains during my stay which flooded the access road and the staff always found a way for me to cross when I left/arrived on foot. The room was basic but very comfortable with diligent daily service. However the shower appeared to need a deep clean on the tile. The water flow in the shower was also less than ideal due to the electric water heater. Nightly loud music from the nearby club (not hotel's fault) made for difficult sleeping for me personally. Food was excellent, kitchen was open early, and overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Highly recommended."
