Absolutely loved social house and would definitely stay again. Staff is amazing and so is the hotel cleanliness and decor. Rooms are small but cozy and so well kept. Has everything you need and is in a great location.

So happy we stayed here! It was my first time in Kenya and I was u sure of where to stay. This place was safe, fashionable, friendly and the restaurants were yummy! Only downside was traffic in and out is bad but I think that’s everywhere in Kenya. Definitely will stay here again!

Innovative hotel which does not forget the basics

Loved the ambiance and the attention to detail in the room. In-room dining ordering through the TV worked in some cases and did not at other times. The staff are wonderful and helpful! Breakfast was really good, they had a nice mix of local and international options. The only thing is it was a bit noisy at night.

While the property was fine on the surface, sadly it's clear a lot of the revenue comes from the bars and outlets at the hotel. Music every night we were there continued until 2am and it was difficult to sleep as the patio door on our room didn't lock or close properly. There was also a storm which was pretty heavy, but in the morning, there was water on the floor and water damage on the wall too. It looks great, the staff are brilliant, but it's a challenge to sleep there. Inca, the restaurant at the top also gets pretty smokey whenever they cook, and windows have to be opened, and we got bitten a few times, so don't forget your mozzie spray. All in all, it's a good property, but just needs a bit of TLC and consideration for their guests who are trying to sleep.
