"The hotel likes a hidden gem. From a window of my room, I can see a stunning view of mountains, Columbia river, dam the Dalles and part of city view. Room is clean, breakfast is not special but good enough for starting a new day, friendly front desk service. My husband and I are happy to find this hotel in the last minute. "

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own.
The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site.
Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside.
We’ll be back."
