"This property is under remodeling.The rooms are quite excellent for comfort. Very quiet and peaceful.
I will say that when the remodel is completed this will be a top tier destination.
I will return in the future and for all my stays in the Dalles area."
"Nice location next to the river right off the highway. Plenty of parking with a gas station and convenience store next to the hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful."
"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own.
The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site.
Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside.
