"The best thing about this hotel was the rooftop pool. It doesn't truly feel like vacation unless there's a pool. I went up there late afternoons, went in pool with my husband and baby then sat and ate the duck confit nachos and drank a delicious margarita. The general ambiance of the hotel is also wonderful, it feels classic and elegant with huge paintings adorning the walls and a restaurant with leather seats on ground floor. Staff was great, valet parking great. Location was right next to Market Street so we did a ton of shopping and strolling through the historical neighborhood. Beautiful architecture, sweet tea, shopping galore...I love Charleston!"
