"We stayed at The Hampton from June 30 to July 5 2025.
The staff was very friendly and helped us whether in the morning for breakfast or to help us warm our food in the evening. The staff were consistently friendly and always smiling. Environment was clean and hotel was about 6 minutes walk to train station and eating places.
We would especially like to acknowledge Manoj and the front desk staff, Garima who checked us in when we arrived on June 30th."
"This accommodation was more than what I expected. It had all the facilities necessary to ensure a good stay. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I was near enough for relatives to visit and had a good, comfortable stay."
"Tastefully decorated, well equiped and air conditioned rooms although the pub itself wasnt. That said the pub was open and airy with good outside space. Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner all recommended). Just a note, my elderly parents were on the top floor..no lifts. "
"We stayed Saturday to Wednesday, then returned after a stay in Salisbury on Saturday until Monday. Saturday’s in the summer means big parties. It is noisy and the restaurant isn’t available. They do offer dinner in a small room to accommodate those who aren’t part of the party. The room we had the first Saturday was awful, AC didn’t work and no hot water! "The staff were wonderful, from check in to check out. I was particularly impressed by the amenities in the room--iron and ironing board, especially. The food for breakfast was vintage English breakfast! It was delicious. There was a slight delay in replenishing some of the food. Nevertheless, breakfast was still great."
