"We loved our stay here and would like to come back. The cottage is next to the old mill and river in the heart of Tewkesbury. It has so much charm and character. Everything you need is here with lovely personal touches. Ground floor has kitchen & living room with access to the garden, although small, it was lovely to sit out here after a day being tourists. First floor has a double room and then bathroom with bath, loo and walk in shower. 2nd floor has the big bed which the host offers to split...

Staff at check-in located in nearby 'Central hotel' were friendly as was the housekeeping who needed to wake me up as I'd overslept (like I said the bed was comfortable). "It's such a shame because the Rose Cottage is in a great location but it was very tired and could do with a proper up grade. Cobwebs everywhere which I didn't mind but when I went to use cutlery, saucepans, glass jar they were dirty and I had to clean them. There's no dishwasher so maybe the previous people that stayed didn't know how to wash up by hand and the cleaner didn't check. Also the fridge wasn't turned on and took a long time to get cold meaning no cold beers with our dinner. I...
