"First of all I want to say thanks to the receptionists and the amazing cleaners that were doing a superb job and being very friendly and helpful! We had a great stay at Bahia Playa and loved the location and the pools! The big pool is heated to 24 degrees so well above that in the afternoon on a sunny day! The food was not very exciting but there are plenty of other options in the area so no need to go and eat there every time. We had a great stay! Thanks!"

"Great option for budget Before mentioning any negatives, I want to start by saying the staff were amazing and highly professional. The person who greeted us was one of the best hotel staff members I’ve ever encountered and truly deserves recognition. It’s also worth noting that this is a 3-star budget hotel, so expectations should be set accordingly—you generally get what you pay for. The main building has great charm, being over 300 years old, which adds character to the stay. We booked a budget room (Room 104), which had a small courtyard but lacked any real views. One of the major concerns was the lack of air conditioning. Although units are present, they don’t work effectively. During summer, the island gets very hot, and the room often felt like an oven, which made it uncomfortable at times. The pool is small but serves its purpose well as a place to cool off. There is also a sun terrace with around 40 loungers, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was included, but as part of a budget offering, the hot food could have been better.
