"Larchwood Motel is well located. However it is severely lacking in up-keep and maintenance. Upon entering the unit it was smelly - stale alcohol/smoke. We opened up the room (it was freezing) for 15 minutes or so to air it out. The curtains are shabby and ill fitting on some windows. "When I arrived, I found I had been alloted an upstairs unit. As the stairs were steep, and I had a knee injury, I was kindly moved to a downstairs unit. This was an upgrade, at no extra cost. I was very grateful. Staff very pleasant, and amenities excellent. Easy walk to pools and shops. I would stay again."
