"I stayed for one night and it was definitely worth it. The hotel has beautiful facilities and great amenities. It's conveniently located—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars. "The property exceeded expectations, the staff was attentive and friendly. The Cambria suite was exactly what i wanted, they even leave a tray with tea and/or coffee outside your door every morning before breakfast. The peace and stillness i found while staying there was what my mind and body needed. I will definitely stay there again and strongly recommend La Prometida to friends and family."

"sylvia was so accommodating and provided us with very helpful tips for our stay. before arriving she helped recommend and book multiple excursions and tours for us. and anytime we had questions while we were there she answered on whatsapp or in person very quickly. she’s very kind and el jardin is a lovely quiet and safe little place "

"We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. "Great experience ! Good location. I was impressed by how clean is kept. The kitchen is excellent! It has all kind of pans, utensils, everything! And is impeccable at all times ;) What made the difference was Alonso and Alejandra at the front desk. They are exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond to help you. "I spent 1 night and it was fine for me. The room was clean. There is a fan which was good bc I don't like ACs. The mattresses needs updating bc I could feel the coils. The front desk was very nice. The grounds are very clean. "
