"This was well located with nice clean rooms, great staff, willing to help with anything. They held our bags for days while we cruised the Nile and organised a fantastic quick tour of the pyramids at very short notice with a great guide (Rasha Yehia Mubarak). "This is an excellent hotel in the middle of origional cairo. Buildings in this area are quite old and sometimes nasty. This is not the case here. The building was remodelled nicely, and the facilities are quite good. One has to manage expectations here because this is a historic area of the city and the buildings typically lack what you might expect in newely built hotels. This building probably was built in the 1800s. Location is wonderful. Off of a main street which gives the rooms quitness...

"The lighting in the room was warm and well distributed, with a reading lamp by the bed that was easy to adjust and very handy at night. Simple details, but they show real care."
