The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). "Escaping from daily busy life. From the beginning the hospitality was warming and excellent. The front desk lady super duper nice, showed us the facility, amenities and genuinely happy to have us the onsen/ryokan experience. The bath house was nice and clean. The room with the view of the city was just spectacular a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. i highly recommended this to get away from the hustle and bustle of OSAKA."
