"The staff are courteous and helpful, and the food is very good. This hotel is centrally located in Snowdonia within walking distance to a nice village and wonderful walks along a charming river. We have stayed here before and will stay here again."

"A Gem of a place to stay, so quiet your own heartbeat will keep you awake, and a view of the landscape to adore. Breakfast is good, basic amenities (Cereal, Toast, Yogurts, etc) with cooked to order items and freshly cooked pastries was a nice touch. Lovely staff, friendly, attentive, and informative on the food locality. Dinner platters, fondue, and on-site bar a wonderful choice for a long day hiking when you're to tired to go out again."

"Excellent Hostel and very well kept. Nice clean facilities and good food available in the restaurant too. Only downside is the parking situation but this is out of their hands and well informed on their web site. Plenty of regular busses during the day so just be sure to plan ahead for where you park."

"Lovely little place to stay in a beautiful village. Cereals and fruit provided for breakfast. Friendly staff when we checked in and out. Only downside the shower need a bit more power! But would stay again if we were ever in the area. Plus stunning view from our room."

"Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward."
