My wife and I booked one night at the A Hilltop Country Retreat and it was exactly that, a retreat. We had a great stay, the unit was comfortable and clean and will definitely book again and recommend to friends and family.

Great little find. Clean, safe, friendly! Went out of their to sort breakfast for us. Allowed us to use their phone to order pizza!! So relaxing and we’ll equipped!! A must stay if you’re in the area!!

For a very low budget (175 euro for 3 nights) a really nice room, bathroom, ktichen. Honest to say its not to compare withe star accommodations but lovely. Nice sitting areas near your room. Bbq option in your own garden. Nice pool with enough parasols. More than value for money

Wat een mooi verblijf! Na een mooie hike in de buurt van het hotel even relaxen bij het zwembad. Er is een mogelijkheid om zelf te koken of om buiten te bbqen. Kamers werden iedere dag schoongemaakt met schone handdoeken. 1 nacht helaas minder goed geslapen, omdat de bovenburen een feestje hadden. Voor de rest is het verblijf super en ook heel rustig! Aanrader het bonte bok park. Hiken en met de auto rondrijden. Daarna de hike marloth, prachtig!

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft in einer Oase der Ruhe. Die Zimmer/Apartments sind extrem großzügig, haben alles was man braucht, inclusive Holzofen für kalte Nächte. Tracy an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Nachhinein wären wir gerne länger geblieben.

Die einzelnen Häuschen sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, die Anlage selbst ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück wurde uns am Vortag in den Kühlschrank gestellt - für uns perfekt, so konnten wir nach einer Wanderung am Morgen auf der Terrasse in der Sonne frühstücken.

Best Hilltop stay

Lana was a excellent hostess. Great property , well kept and very friendly, accommodating team. I suggest having the braai on site as you can order in sides from Lana and go to the local butcher for great meat. Get Great experience and you get to sit to sit at a fire with a glass or two of wine. Fun time!! I would highly recommend staying here s we will be back for sure.

We loved our stay at Hilltop. The service was exceptional. The front desk was very helpful. We were greeted with a map of the local area and recommendations on where to eat for dinner. The room was extremely spacious. The wood stove was a highlight.
