"This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. They helped us by holding our bags since we arrived early, getting our room ready ASAP, and calling a cab when it was time to go to the airport. It was just a wonderful experience and we would...

"The rooms were clean and the staff wonderful. Only thing was the smell in the room a little musty and i am sure it was due to the moist atmosphere but luckly I had Lysol. Bar and food was terrific if you stayed in the Club. The food was amazing whether breakfast, lunchtime/snacks and late afternoon snacks or desserts."

"We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. "Had a very nice time staying at Sapphire Resort. The sargassum was a bummer but the staff took very good care of it so the beach could still be easily accessible. My husband and I did hours of snorkeling and found some pretty neat fish/invertebrates. Our condo was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The bar and pool were also great. Would definitely do it again!"

"I love the privacy we had with room and balcony. There is no smoking of any kind on property, but they do have a designated area. Not too many activities unless you travel over to st John's but the stay was great!"
