We loved our stay at Island House hotel! They had everything we needed and more. It’s a very lowkey friendly atmosphere, with some longer term guests and others just passing through as we were. It was well stocked and had great amenities, close to the beach and fun/family friendly. Very kind staff and helpful! One thing that could be a bit bothersome is guests are permitted to smoke outside of rooms and around the pool and we did find a regular presence of smoke in the air (not in the room at all, that was very clean and smoke free!) which we didn’t love to have our kids around.

We had a great stay! The room was clean and tidy. The mattresses were super firm. And it was so quiet at night. Diane at the front desk was simply wonderful, so kind and accommodating. We loved the courtyard pool, we did not however love that smoking was allowed in the courtyard, it wasn’t frequent but we did see the staff doing it, which was shocking to us. Where we’re from you can’t smoke with 30 ft of entry doors so we didn’t anticipate it being a problem. Overall a great experience. We will be back.

Rooms were very large and very clean. We were only here one night so we didn't cook but they had everything to cook with. Pool was beautiful and had a deep end which we love. Staff was great 👍. Will definitely be back. Beach access was so easy. 2 minute walk.

Very clean room and property. Friendly office personnel. The pool was clean and warm. The free beach chairs and towels were easily accessible. Our girls getaway was amazing and this stay made it much more enjoyable. The bed was comfortable but my neck disliked the pillows. Restaurants and stores were just a quick walk away. I stayed here for 8 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing!! They were all super friendly and very helpful with anything that I needed. This is not the place to be if you’re looking for a party, but if you want a nice, quiet place to relax, I would highly recommend it.

Freshly remodeled after suffering hurricane damage. Staff was very available and polite. Room and actual facilities were excellent Please bear in mind. This is a very smoker friendly hotel. Smoking is allowed in the pool area, common areas as well as private balconies. As a non-smoker, this could be very overwhelming.

Very nice and small property built around a swimming pool. Reminded me of some places we stopped when I was a kid in the 70's, but updated with a fantastic pool area and great front desk staff and amazing cleaning staff. This is a place I would go back to any time I am in the area. The only (very small) negative thing for me was that the bed was super firm, but I still slept good enough.

Wonderful hotel

The hotel was really nice. The rooms are large and clean with a kitchenette. The pool is really nice and it’s in the middle of the hotel with lots of foliage around. I stayed for two days and I loved it!
