"Fantastic pool area, much better than resorts next door. Room was ok, nothing fancy but met all our needs. We were on vacation and didn’t plan on spending much time in the room. Kitchen area was well stocked with all service/cooking-ware needed. Bed was comfortable. Room did have a musty smell upon arrival from a/c unit, I believe, but subsided after a day or so. Overall a great quiet retreat, we will be back. "

"My hubby and I stayed here with our two grandsons for a quick summer beach vacation and it was the perfect size for us. I love that it was so close to the beach and our favorite ice cream shop. Parking is awful. We were afraid to go anywhere in our car for fear we wouldn’t find a parking spot when we returned. "This is an older hotel; and offers a full kitchen. The bedding and linens are very basic (Dollar store quality), nothing like a modern hotel. The location is spot on; you can easily walk across the street to the beach. The beach is quieter than the section near the bigger hotels in St. Pete; we enjoyed it. I would recommend this location, just bring your own towels. "
