"The staff was not there when we arrived, they were grocery shopping. The tv didn’t work. The room was nice and very good and clean. The staff was not at the desk in morning either."

"Its a pretty decent place for a short-term stay. Conveniently located on the main street of the town, walkable to most restaurants and just a short drive to everything else. Short drive to Stratford as well as the west coast of Ontario. Room was just as pictured. Pretty neat and clean. "Parking was very easy ... outside your door! The owners are very well known and liked. If you want somewhere quiet and clean, this motel is excellent. Not in the hustle, bustle of downtown. Near a great market and within a good distance of the mall, restaurants, Walmart, etc. "

The Night Owl room has a bit of an inconvenient shower - low pressure, towel hanger is way too far. That's something that can maybe be improved. Overall a good experience."

"what sank the experience was the kitchenette - dark with peeling laminate. after seeing that I didn't even want tto peel back the bedding. Just slept on top of the topping in my clothes. didn't see anything horrible or anything - just couldnt get over that kitchenette. bathroom wasn't great either."

"Room was clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. When the temperature spiked, they were quick to change from heating to a/c to avoid the unpleasantness of guests feeling too hot. Plenty of parking as well. And for dog lovers, very pet friendly. About a 15 min walk to the festival theatre and 4 min drive to “downtown Stratford”"

"The Stone Maiden Inn is a unique place to stay when you are visiting Stratford. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques. It is well situated in Stratford as you are in walking distance to the Shakespearean Gardens and the town centre with a great variety of places to eat. We parked our car and enjoyed walking around. I did not give it full stars because the shower in our room was too cramped and our mattress was too soft which made it difficult to sleep."
