Four of us stayed for one night. The hotel is compact but comfortable. The building has some old (I would assume original) design (such as the hallway staircase railing, some furniture in common areas). The bathrooms also have the "old times feel" which I liked. The hotel is unique, conveniently located walking distance to the Avon theatre and some shops. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the Windsor. The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants, and theatre. The 3 bedroom apartment is roomy and the furniture is suitable for relaxing and visiting. We didn't cook but used kitchen essentials to enjoy several takeout meals around the large table. The staff was very friendly and quickly accommodated our requests. We hope to stay again next year!

The room was small but clean. There was an issue with the cold water tap in the bathroom which we mentioned as we were checking out. Staff said they would have someone look at it. We enjoyed our night stay. It’s a beautiful old hotel very well situated to everything.

Pretentious hotel. I complained twice that there was a spider web a lots of dead bugs in the bathroom, and they never cleaned it up. The entire bathroom was disgusting with flaking paint and sloppy plaster, filthy corners and cracks. The daytime male attendant didn’t help, and the female lied and was rude. The night clerk was very good.

The check in was a nightmare. After a 5 hour drive we are told there is no parking even though I indicated we would need parking and the site advertised they provided parking. We were sent to a municipal lot, a 10 minute walk. The map provided had no directional indications so we went the wrong way and got lost. The actual stay was wonderful. The room was great and the rest of the staff very helpful. The restaurant is excellent as was the continental breakfast. The area was central, next door to one of the theatres.

The rooms were very clean, the mattress was excellent and overall the interior is clean looking, modern and cozy. Very competitively priced, friendly helpful staff, will book early again next season to ensure there is availability. Super happy with our stay and very close and walkable to all amenities, theatres, restaurants, shops, etc.

This hotel location is central and only one block from the lake /park. Walking distance to Theatre is between 20-30 minutes. Restaurants are readily nearby. The hotel has no bellman service, while there is an elevator available, some rooms like our corner King room located on second floor has to accessed by another set of stairs. The room is furnished sparingly, with typical older houses’s thin walls that lacks of soundproofing. The hotel is a boutique hotel suitable for centrally located quick short stay.

The bathroom was extremely small, with no vanity or counter space to put makeup and personal accessories, and no drawers for storage. The towels were grey and did not feel particularly clean. The floor in the room was very dirty; after walking around in our socks, the bottoms turned completely black. The pillows were uncomfortably high, and it seemed like the pillowcases were too small for them. On top of everything, the air conditioning was extremely loud, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and I barely slept at all
