"Clayton Plaza has always been my place to stay the last four years my son was in college at WashU. It is close to the campus. You can walk to a few restaurants nearby. The staff are always nice and rooms are perfect for a short stay. I would definitely recommend"

Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Near Union Station
"Our particular room had a lot of plumbing issues particularly the toilet. Sink ran very slow and poor water pressure. Very good location and I guess that's what you're paying for."
