"The staff were very helpfull, the room was clean, our room was above some kind of air con or fan unit outside on the wall and it was so hot we had to have the windows open so it was a little noisy. On the Friday night there was an event on after the races.. A DJ playing music until 1.30am, we were informed of this upon check in but feel that if we had been informed a little earlier we may have cancelled our stay and booked alternative accomodation as I had a 4 hour drive home and not much sleep...

"Very nicely furnished room, well equipped with everything I needed and a few things I didn't. Air conditioning was a bonus in the current heat wave. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Plus it is very convenient for Duxford IWM."

"Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...

"So pleased we booked an overnight stay here. Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful. Small room but it had everything that you would need including a safe, aircon (so welcome with the high temperatures), an iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee. The bathroom was great too. Good shower and there were fluffy towels and toiletries. There was an excellent choice at breakfast- a wide selection of cooked breakfasts. We had eggs royale and scrambled eggs, tomatoes and smoked salmon.All...

"You get what you pay for here . Very helpful staff . A clean room could do with an update , older style mattress but still comfortable , A quiet pub in a tucked away location and it has all you need quiet room ,T.V , a good shower , Tea and coffee , an ok bed . Bit like staying at an older relative, I will go back and use it again."

"I wouldn’t recommend this hotel anyone, I stayed at this hotel recently and paid £130 for a night but it was very disappointed with the condition of the room and the way my concerns were handled. I went into the shower and only realised after I was already wet that there was no shampoo provided in the dispenser/tray.
