"Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs."

"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the hotel was clean and tidy with a nice selection of drinks a the bar. The room was extremely clean and tidy was very impressed by it although have a short stay i would have liked for there to have been a fridge. Apart from that the room was great clean fresh bedding little sofa. A/c along with all the compliments in the room and shower. Room cleaning was done daily and they did a lovely job too. Breakfast had a good variety from cereal and fruit to a full English. Although the hash browns were not to my liking. Everything else was great. Really could not have knocked my stay and would definitely recommend and return again in the future. Thanks very much for a pleasant stay. 10/10"

"The room was on a very busy noisy road, double glazing would help reduce the noise, wagons driving past the windows shake, lots of limescale on the kettle in the room very off putting, the room was cleanish, the cups lots of water marks, mirror very dusty, shower had lots of mould in. The bed however was huge, and very comfy. They got my evening meal wrong, a beef burger instead of a chicken burger, I agreed to take it as the young girl was very busy and I had already waited 40 minutes, they took my drink of my bill.... it was a Diet Coke, I still paid £19.50 for a meal I didn't really want. Breakfast very expensive and 1 price for whether you have a full English or 2 crumpets and a hot drink £16.50 for crumpets or a bacon sandwich is very excessive. Disappointed "

"Bar menu was very limited & the dining room was closed. The room was poor even though it was supposed to be an ‘executive double .’ I really don't think the room had been serviced correctly after the previous guest . I needed to ask for a clean duvet cover. That says it all. However , the receptionist was very pleasant and very helpful. Apparently the hotel is due to be refurbished & in my humble opinion that cant come soon enough . Great view though !! "
