The place is very cozy, our room was big, the bathroom perfect, perfect location right in the piazza il campo. With a lot of restaurants, points of interest. I really recommend the Palazzo del papa. We had a common area with the other rooms and we get courtesy water, coffee, tea and some snacks. Hamza is the person in charge I can’t describe how awesome he was, very polite, worried about how we were doing, he gave us a lot of information about the city, places to eat, he recommended Antica Fattoria Papei very close to the hotel, the best food and wine and the service very good! Totally recommend Palazzo del Papa and thank you again Hamza for your kindness

What an excellent stay! Great bed, pillows, AC and sparkling Clean. AC Building was unique and location was right by the square with everything is walking distance. Hemza, our just, was super accommodating, excellent restaurant recommendations and absolutely delightful. We can’t wait to stay again!

This is a guest house but it is in the best location. It is super clean. The host (Hafza) made us feel so welcome. He went beyond what is expected to make us feel comfortable. We loved our stay and would highly recommend for anyone who is planning on visiting Siena. I wish we stayed one more day.

Nice, clean bedroom & bathroom. Shared entry was noisy when other guests arrived. You can hear Church bells ringing throughout the night as you are located in the square. Siena is a lovely town.

Amazing!!!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! If I could give 6 or 10 stars I would! The location is great - Hamza is amazing and the place is adorable, clean, and perfectly furnished. I can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic place

Fantastic place! Hamza was incredible with his help, attention and service. The location is steps from the main square with restaurants, shops, etc. literally outside your door. All of this with being very quiet when you are inside. Nice room with a very nice common are that included all of the amenities. I will definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay in Siena! Clean, stylish and very comfortable. It’s just a few steps around the corner to the central Piazza de Campo and all the wonderful shops and restaurants in that area. Our host, Hamza, was fabulous! We had great recommendations for restaurants, area attractions, help with reservations, taxi rides and much more! Hamza went out of his way to accommodate our needs and make us feel at home in Siena. We definitely recommend a stay at the Palazzo del Papa, and plan to return on our next excursion to Italy.

The property is managed by a very pleasant, helpful individual who keeps it immaculately clean but it was not clear on Expedia that it is not an hotel but three rooms in a flat with, for example, no ability to have breakfast. It was not what we were expecting and would not have made the reservation had we known. Having checked the info on the web site we believe the description is misleading. Hamsa tries very hard to ensure everything is as good as he can and it is good for what offers in an ideal location but not what we would have booked.
