Very convenient. A small property and very difficult to follow instructions as to how to drive there. Reception were very helpful in sorting it out. Breakfast in next door hotel but we didnt know , had to find it. Good.

Poorly functioning A/C in 1 of 2 rooms

While my room was fine, the second room’s A/C wasn’t functioning properly making my sister-in-law’s night miserable in the summer heat. The staff was informed of the A/C problem and they shrugged it off stating that it was working (which it clearly wasn’t as the room temp was in the 90s (mid 30s C). The service at check-in was great, they stored our luggage until the rooms were ready and the rooms were very clean.

Great location to the piazza. Check in was easy and friendly. Simple accommodations, had a nice common balcony for the people to use. Wish there was an in room coffee or tea maker though.

Great location. Make sure to park outside of the ZTL and get a taxi in. Very easy. It’s difficult to find if you try to drive into the ZTL to drop your bags and the streets are narrow and congested with tourists.

The hotel owner was very helpful. I like its location and convenience. The room has awkward shape with a separate bathroom with key access. There was a shared lounge at mid level. Its proximity to Piazza Campo can’t be beaten.

They have a lift so you can avoid the stairs, property is very clean, steps from the Campo, tv in rooms, adjacent to a new cafe, great price. Shared bathroom may bother some but never had an issue with it.

This was probably the worst stay in a hotel I've had in 20 years. The A/C "pinguino" only worked when the key was inserted, which I understand as to save energy, however it had been 105F that day and the room could not cool off, especially when the A/C machine crapped out at 2 in the morning. It was unbearable. I opened a window to let fresh, cool air in but worried about mosquitos or the nearby pigeons coming into the room, I got about 4 hours sleep in total. The shower wouldn't drain. The TV wasn't connected to service so we had no channels. There were no cups in the room. The pillows were flat. There was no place to really charge our devices, we set up our phone to charge overnight, but it didn't do anything. We came back to the room at 9:30pm, and the front desk staff had already left. The staff wasn't at the desk in the morning, so we didn't have a chance to complain then, so just went out and enjoyed Siena. The location is fabulous, just steps from Il Campo. We decided to head back to Florence early even though we had prepaid for 2 nights, but we just couldn't bear another night in that awful room. We booked this last minute, and I clearly did not do my homework.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is only steps away from the Campo and Duomo and its million restaurants. As to the hotel itself, much is lacking. The “towels” are more like restaurant napkins and tablecloths or tea towels. I was tempted to toss the “towel” on the floor and use the bath mat instead. At least that one was terry cloth. Also, there were no glasses, and no coffee or tea in the room. I have never been in any hotel, no matter how humble, that did not provide glasses (glass or plastic), and 95% provide something for tea and coffee. There is zero counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. On the way out in the morning, we were locked in an interior hallway behind (ironically) a fire door that would not open. I had to call the front desk so someone could come and open that door. Bottom line: if location is all you are looking for, this hotel may suit you, but I feel it should make a few simple adjustments before I would recommend it.

This hotel's location is amazing. It is essentially carved our ot very old buildings that date back to the glory days of Siena. It is only steps from the town center. The room was fine, Internet was sketchy. Staff hours were limited. But it all worked our and we had a great time.

The property is in an amazing location on a small street right next to the main square. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. It would be helpful to have a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, a couple of glasses would be useful, too. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. While the hotel itself is quite basic, it’s clean and the location is unbeatable.
