"Karey is a very personable host and if you are a dog lover she has 3 well mannered standard poodles; Wally, Tigre and Molly. If you like, Karey will call them into your room one at a time to meet you. The bed was comfortable, you have your choice of 3 breakfast items and ours was delicious. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, however , we plan to return to explore the surrounding beaches and walks."

"Nice welcome. Clean and comfortable room.Lovely sea view from balcony. Would benefit from as elevator as stair case long, although there are some ground floor rooms. Property is a little dated but this didn’t distract from it comfort. Ideal situation very near airport also in small town easy walking to shops/restaurants."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

It also felt like the appliances weren’t properly maintained, and there were no cupboards in the kitchen. They provided the hotel extension number information, but there was no phone in the room. Had to contact them by email because nobody answered the hotel phone number. The shower in the master bedroom didn’t work well, and the balcony hadn’t been cleaned — there...
