This place is excellent value for money. The rooms are very nice and very clean with amazing views of rice fields and Agung. It is out of the main tourist area and no close by dining options. You really need a scooter if you stay here which was easy to hire at the accommodation. The staff are very attentive and helpful and they have a reasonable food menu which they deliver to your balcony. A nice small pool but flooring around pool needs attention and maybe shade around the pool such as umbrellas for loungers would make it more appealing. Overall, a very relaxing stay in beautiful Sidemen.

Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields. Agung was a wonderful host who made our stay so much more special. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and very enthusiastic and fun to interact with each day. Made and all the staff here at Barong were a delight. The traditional blessing on entry was a great taste of culture and start to the stay. The food was freshly made - delicious everytime, with local ingredients and flavours - some from the gardens of Barong, Massages on-site and scooters hired through Barong, are some of the property perks. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you again.

Not a lot of food options, It is difficult to get there. Also everything you ask the front desk to help you with they charge you 50%-70% more. Example a scooter, a taxi, boat tickets.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in einer der Villas. Das Team (Familienbetrieb) ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, freundlich und herzlich! Wir sind mit Motorbike angereist, denn per Auto ist es nicht oder nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich. Das Hotelzimmer ist sehr liebevoll und landestypisch edel eingerichtet. Alles ist vorhenden, das Bett und Bettwäsche sehr komfortabel und sauber. Das Essen wird zum Zimmer/auf die eigene Terrasse gebracht und ist ebenfalls sehr gut und liebevoll angerichtet. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, das kann zwar etwas dauern aber man hat ja Zeit und kann den tollen Blick genießen. Der direkte Kontakt zum Dschungel und dem angrenzenden Reisfeld ist genau das wonach wir gesucht hatten. Wir kommen sicher wieder! Ganz tolle Gastfreundschaft! C.Schierig

Qualité pas au rendez-vous

Nous devions rester 3 nuits dans l'etablissement. La premiere nuit a été assez penible car la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Pas possible de prendre un bain, la bonde de la baignoire était bloquée. La deuxieme nuit, ils nous ont changé de bungalow à notre demande en rentrant de notre journée. Le ménage n'avait pas été fait dans le premier bungalow. Nous avons demandé également à louer des scooters mais ils n'en avaient plus de dispo. Ils nous ont donné un numéro pour en louer un nous même. Nous sommes assez mitigés pour les repas, il y a des bonnes choses et des moins bonnes. Tous les repas sont pris sur la terrasse des bungalows. Ce qui est plutôt sympa avec la vue et le calme de Sidemen ( il faut juste être très très patient pour attendre le repas , 1h apres la commande ). Et puis quand votre plat reste toute la nuit dehors, c'est quand meme pas agréable au reveil ( insectes ++) et ca manque un peu d'hygiene quand on vous met le petit dejeuner sur la table meme pas nettoyée.. La piscine rend moins bien que sur les photos et elle manque également de propreté. Heureusement, le personnel est gentil et disponible pour répondre a vos questions. Nous sommes en basse saison, je vais prendre ça comme excuse pour la baisse de qualité de l'hotel. Les avis sont quand même tres bon de manière général donc laissez un chance à cet hotel.

Le pire cache le meilleur

L'accès est impossible en voiture, il y a 200m a faire seulement en scooter ou a pied En revanche une fois arrivé le cadre est splendide. Le personnel est du gentillesse incroyable. Les chambres sur atypique. Pour le prix, c'est un très belle hôtel
