"This place was perfect for the holiday escape also family trip! The kaiseki was awesome and they provide pick up and ride service. And location is PERFECT 😘"
"This is a new type of a Japanese "Ryokan", mostly self-services. Quiet area and much cheaper than other typical "Ryokan" in the town. Yet, I enjoyed one of the private-room onsen. "
"This was the first time my best friend Lina and I had stayed at a ryokan, and although it was a perfect trip overall, the only difficult part was walking up the hill to the ryokan with our luggage. The staff were very kind, and the two breakfasts and two dinners, each featuring exquisite delicacies, left us in awe every time. The temperature of the hot spring water was just right and gentle. "The rooms are very spacious and has all the amenities needed. The private onsen is amazing. We booked half board and was very thankful that they were willing to accommodate our vegetarian diet. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. "
"Cozy, clean & spacious room with a mini onsen. Pre-check in is advisable. 5 minute walk to Kirin Lake where beautiful scenery & cafes around. 10 minute walk to Yufuin Floral Village & shopping streets. "
"Amazing service all around. We were greeted straight away, shown to our room and the available facilities. The ryoken was very peaceful and clean. Dinner was 10/10 and we had lovely onsens to enjoy."
"I liked that the location is away from the busy are, yet close enough.
Good English support.
We went up the hill and explored, which I would recomment if you want to get away from the crowd. Just a few good quality shops and art galleries, and restaurants up the hill."
"I love that this hotel was completely different than what I expected. Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised by the bed & breakfast style of the hotel and the nostalgic memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel as well. The staff was very informative and accommodating to my needs while speaking english. I felt right at home. The free hot chocolate was delicious which I sipped graciously in the living room after a hot soak in the private onsen. I had such a relaxing experience. I am looking forward to visiting Yufuin again and returning to this hotel! "
