"The property was breathtakingly beautiful. We were greeted by smiling staff with a glass of champagne to be shown around the main house. Our room was just steps from the lobby and dining areas which was convenient, however, we did have to keep the blinds drawn most of the time as all our windows (including the bathroom) faced the front parking lot. "Bare bones, but perfectly adequate hotel if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a little TV (didn’t check the WIFI, but Verizon worked fine in the room anyway). Easy parking, friendly front desk person. I’d stay again. (Fridge and microwave were also handy). "
"What a lovely place. We spent a night here, and the facility was historic and beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been kinder and more welcoming. We really enjoyed talking with them about the history of the area. I hope we can stay here again!!"
