"I recently stayed at ibis Sheffield City Centre and was very disappointed with the experience. The hotel was difficult to find due to limited signage, and the overall stay did not feel like good value for money. I booked three rooms, and each had issues with condition and comfort. My wife and daughter had to change rooms twice: the first had a strong smell of cigarettes, and the next two had air‑conditioning that was not working, so they had to rely on a fan. "Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok Breakfast was awful all in all never to be repeated again"

"Great stay however the rooms were not overly clean. It seems housecleaning need to rush to get rooms ready and do a basic wipe over, but it is not really to the standard expected of a 4star hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and grounds and common areas were very nice. Food a little disappointing (plates hot but breakfast not). With some attention to detail this property would be really good 😊"
