"Beautiful historic property, some of which is in need of refurbishment. The hotel advertises a pool, which is misleading. It has an area with water but there is no access in or out of the water. The hote is set in the old historic district, which adds to the charm but access by car difficult."

"The Hotel was just perfect , from check in we were shown on a map the local area to visit , our room was beautiful with an amazing comfortable bed , We only had breakfast on the first day which was just perfect sittiing in the little court yard with orange trees . "Really enjoyed our stay at Alcoba del Rey. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent dinner recommendations. Location is a bit out of the way so taxi was best way to get to the sites. We also did not realize our room did not have a shower until we were already there - only a bathtub with a wand. Overall very charming hotel. Breakfast was good too. "
