"This is what used to be The Water Club before MGM took over the Borgata. Clean rooms, quite large, well-appointed. Hotels and casinos everywhere are a bit down-at-heel post-COVID, especially as the travel economy has weakened as wealthy foreigners avoid the US. There's not much around the Borgata except Harrahs, and the area isn't at all walkable. My personal regret is that Bobby Flay's Steaks has been replaced by a Michael Symon Italian restaurant. My wife and I were huge fans of Flay's place, especially the hanger steak."

"Atlantic City seems quite depressed, most especially a couple of blocks off the boardwalk. Hard Rick is great. Loved the hotel's 22 floor view. Good gym and pool (if somewhat dated). Comfy beds. Great checkin staff."
