Overall the property is quite nice, however, I would not have it as a five star hotel. The area of Seminyak is not the best place to be in Bali and the hotel is a good bit away from where you want to be and all of the roads have no footpaths and is pretty crazy to walk along.
Pros:
- Villa is lovely with big outdoor space and private pool.
- Staff are nice but lack common awareness for guest experience.
Cons:
- Found mouse droppings all over the Villa.
- Area is awkward to walk anywhere to and requires taxi (they offer a shuttle within seninyak but are largely too busy to drop you or can only take you 5 mins down the road).
- Food was not great in the restaurant and very much dead.
- Went to watch the music in the restaurant on the Sunday (supposed to be playing from 6 - 9) but the musician was gone for a 45 min break (during a 3 hour set) and didn’t get to see him.
- Spa is way overpriced in comparison to local spas.
- Only had breakfast once during 3 night stay as they don’t serve before 7. They charge 180k for the floating tray. I was hoping to get this waived as I only breakfast once but they were unwilling to do so.
From the time you arrive to the time you leave the staff are uber attentive. The villas are spacious, clean and the outdoor kitchen lounge and pool are an added bonus. The food served is also great.
