"I love the place. That’s is a hidden gem. I would let the guy in the property stay there full time in case the guest need something. He was very helpful. In the lake house you could add some paintings or Japanese drawing to the wall to make it feel more cozy . Overall the experience was great and the birds and landscape are breathtaking. "It's fairly convenient and inexpensive, with a decently sized room. There is some food and drink available to purchase from the office, although can be a little pricey for what it is (e.g. $3 for Gatorade). Room was a little grimey (mostly the floor, and there was hair left about the place), but there's decent AC and you get parking. You also get a decent sized mini fridge and a microwave. The tradeoff is, of course, you have to eat out more and that is quite expensive! It's within drivable distance of a fair amount of dining places and, for the main reason we were there, it was equidistant between several entrances to the Everglades. Decent for a budget holiday!"
