"I love the place. That’s is a hidden gem. I would let the guy in the property stay there full time in case the guest need something. He was very helpful. In the lake house you could add some paintings or Japanese drawing to the wall to make it feel more cozy . Overall the experience was great and the birds and landscape are breathtaking. "I searched the web for an inexpensive room in the Homestead area for Friday night to break up what I knew would be a brutal drive from Ft. Myers to Big Pine Key for Memorial Day weekend. Fairway Inn appeared at the top of the list, was highly rated and had a reasonable rate. When we arrived I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the grounds in a city that isn't known for being cofured. I was even more impressed when I entered the office and was warmly greeted by Juanita. She exuded warmth, friendliness and professionalism. After an efficient check-in we made it to our room and found it to be clean and adequate for our needs. Long story short, in a town where everything I wrote about above is hard to find, the Fairway Inn delivers the goods."
