"This is a lovely small hotel and restaurant run by a lovely couple. The setting is like something out of a story book. From our room we could hear the soothing sound of the fountain and the church bells ringing from the nearby bell tower. The bed was comfy. There is a nice breakfast in the morning for hotel guests. Horgen is a quaint and quiet little town. You can easily purchase tickets to Horgen from the airport and train station. So getting there is no problem. We took the ferry boat back from Zurich one evening, which was a very pleasant way to travel."
"Really good stay. The reception desk upgraded us to a suite.
I sat down in the foyer and accidentally left my sunglasses on the table. The staff had handed them in to reception for me. So relieved! Thank you!
Clean room and friendly staff.
One area for improvement is the breakfast. The scrambled egg at the breakfast station was not refilled (I assumed it was because it was 1 hour before closing) and then I saw a fresh plate of scrambled and omelette being delivered to the next table. Had I known it was an option I would have ordered this but it was too late"
"I stay at the SwissEver semi-frequently when I travel for work as our HQ is in Steinhausen.
I really want to call out Angela on reception who provides exceptional service to her guests. Every time I arrive to the warmest of welcomes, greeted like a returning friend - & nothing is too much trouble. Even when hundreds of guest arrive enmasse Angela keeps professional, calm & polite - such a credit to the hotel.
The rooms could do with modernisation, the cleaning of late has dropped a little - the last twice I’ve had public hair in the shower, not hygiene bags & marks on either towels or bath mat, this does need attention as previously it was pristine!
Otherwise, nice hotel, convenient location & the rooms are a great size."
"The staff were so kind and helpful. Spa amenities were fantastic after a few days of site seeing. We stayed in one evening having dinner and drinks in the bowling alley so much fun. The views are breathtaking. We had a fabulous stay!"
