"The room was in adequate no hooks in bathroom
Mattress was had added layer of sponge on top to form it
Did not do the job instead I felt I was going to fall off
It was very uncomfortable
Very grumpy manager did not want to hear about my complaint"

"Zeer leuk verblijf. Wij verbleven in familiekamer met 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. Zeer propere kamer, goed ontbijt (geen uitgebreid buffet, maar alles wat je nodig hebt en eieren à la carte), goede ligging inclusief parking. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Voor mij een aanrader. Wij waren op doorreis en hebben vanuit de Sheldon Eastbourne bezocht en de seven Sisters."

"Quiet, informal & unassuming hotel with a classy interior, if you’re a fan of art especially. Very well located, I would definitely stay again."

"I specifically booked this hotel because it has a lift and my mum cannot do stairs. We were attending a special family celebration and wanted to stay the night to make a weekend of it.
When we arrived at the hotel, the lift was broken - the steps to the first floor were exceedingly steep and narrow - my poor mum was absolutely unable to climb them.
There were no ground floor rooms available so we had to cancel the booking and are going through the Expedia complaints process to get a refund....

"Breakfast is advertised as being available from 7. As we had a plane to catch we were keen to get it early. But hot food was not out until 7.15, fruit juice not until 7.20 and there was initially no bread to toast (just crumpets and muffins) and no butter. If breakfast is advertised from 7, everything should be available from 7, not 20 minutes later. very poor effort."

"Ibis Brighton fabulously situated just down near main railway station . We stayed 2nights , probably had couple more hand towels each."

"Great stay as always; it has gone through changes and upgrades over the past few years, since Tony sold up, but remains the same perfect Brighton base and not just for the LBQT community.
Crew always friendly, rooms well appointed and no where I would rather be than on the terrace, when the suns shining."

"It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this.
The place itself is very stylish and well decorated."
