"Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again."

"Our room seemed to be newly renovated which was nice and it was very clean. Conveniently only a few miles from cedar point, I felt it was a good price for the location which also included breakfast. We had a noisy air unit and the door was tough to open and close. There was no gym/workout room as advertised which was one of the main reason I picked this hotel. Very disappointed and got no answers about it from the front desk when I asked why I gym was advertised."

"Cabin was perfect for a 3 day stay. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 teens. Loft has room for 2 queen air mattresses but height is a little bit of an issue with taller air mattresses but height. Equivalent to a tiny house. Clean, good a/c, quiet."

"If you are looking for a bed and a shower, but nothing else, this place should suffice. The proprietor scolded me for not telling him that the lamp didn't work, there was no coffee maker, and the microwave didn't heat. Also, the inside the room security locks were broken -- like the room had been broken into -- and never replaced or repaired. His staff should alert him to these things. If they can't check everything because "people don't want to work" (his words), PAY them. People will work for...

"I was there for a week with my 3 grandchildren nice place but they had the same scrambled eggs and sausage patties every morning, staff was nice but the people in the room above us had kids and you could here them running all night"

"The pictures online do not match what you actually see! Room had 2 small double beds instead of XL like listed. Ceiling had black spots and popcorn ceiling falling down. I booked because it was close but at 150 plus a night this is pitiful. 2miles away are many worth the cost."

"Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. "Pictures are not anything like the actual place. It’s at an intersection and everything is loud. It looks sketchy, and the room is so tiny. A double bed is not even big enough for 2 people. The bathroom is so small you couldn’t move. I would so much rather pay $30 more for bigger."

We had two conditioners and one shampoo in the shower (so no shower gel) in the bottles that attach to the walls. "We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful."
