"The location is fantastic, with bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away, and the main part of the city about 15 minutes. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable and adequately equipped but lacks storage for a longer stay. It is not for anyone with ANY mobility issues. Apart from a couple of communication hiccups, and a road closure near the property, getting there was OK, but beware rip off airport taxi drivers. Overall, a great stay"

"This was a very charming apartment in a nice, walkable area of town. The directions to the apartment and how to get in were very accurate. It is true that the stairs are steep. "This was a great place to stay, was able to get checked in with ease despite arriving late in the evening. Room was as pictured and comfortable. A bit of a walk from the city center so we ended up ordering a car every morning but a beautiful location nonetheless. I would recommend this place!"

"This is not a hotel. The photos posted must be fraudulent. I arrived to an address in a dangerous looking neighborhood. There was no sign. The door required a key code, but this was not sent prior to my arrival which would have clued me that this some kind of rental property. I had to try to find a real hotel at that point. This cost me two days of prepaid fees plus two Uber rides. "

"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."
