"Good location, excellent and helpful staff. Our room had lots of space and a good shower and bathroom counter to get ready but poor lighting for doing hair/makeup. Having a kitchen area was great and the bed was comfortable with lots of extra cushions. We liked staying in the gothic quarter near las Rambla and walkable to other attractions. Would recommend this historic hotel."

"Thoma who coordinate my luggage and taxi was terrific and 5 star service. Checking in and out smooth, 5 star.The food was delicious. However, the molten chocolate dessert took close to 45 minutes and was horrible. Much too sweet badly baked and with half a tea spoon of crème fresh. I complained to the waiter. Suggested that he bring it back for the chef to taste as he should be aware of what is leaving his kitchen. It made the dinner experience a disappointment and certainly not what to expect...
"Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist wunderschön eingerichtet, neu renoviert mit alten hochwertigen Details aus früheren Zeiten. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann fussläufig super viel erreichen. El Born und gothisches Viertel sind einen Katzensprjng Weg. Sehr viele Ess- und Trinkmöglichkeiten. Wir sind mega happy gewesen und kommen wieder! "

"Beautiful property with high tech amenities. Very clean well kept. Fantastic location cannot explain that enough.
Advise for US travelers: although washer / dryer unit is provided understand that most European dryers are not going to fully dry your clothes. This washer/dryer combo was “weaker” than other dryers we’ve used in Europe but it was a very nice to have the unit onsite.
Lockers provided after check out where really convenient!"
