"Always the perfect place to stay"

"Clean room but could use updates. Great area very walkable. Loved the restaurant Oceana ..right next door. Great water view. Close to airport so you will hear planes during the day. Fun to watch the water plane take off and land …and the cruise ships come and go. Good food close by for breakfast and lunch that you can bring back and eat on the covered porch. Their landscaping on the property was fabulous and the pool was refreshing. "

"What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! "So nice being right on the beach. We didn’t mind being by the airport at all, the noise wasn’t bad and we kinda liked watching the planes. We even walked from airport to the hotel and it was a very easy walk. Third floor room was perfect to sit out and see the view. There was a water pipe issue, but it was out of their control, and they thoughtfully provided water for guests. Remember, it's an island, and sometimes things happen! "First of all this is not a 24/7 hands on place at all. The front desk only works from 8am to 10 pm. So if you have anything that you need you won't get it. If the pipe burst, need towels, light bulb you won't be able to get anything ontil that time. So emergency around that time isn't available. Outside my room iheard a loud bang. "It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip.
