"We got this hotel so we could spend the night before going to Cedar Point. This hotel was a fifteen minute drive from the park and had lots of food options nearby. It was a good value for what we paid (very inexpensive). The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the showers. Plenty of places to plug in phones and nice pictures in the room. Breakfast was as expected. The make-your-own cinnamon-apple waffles were excellent. Yogurt, sausage patties, toast, bagels/cream cheese, muffins, coffee, and cereal were fine (hard to mess those up). Eggs were likely powdered and sub-bar.
The place could have used some all-around maintenance. The carpet in the halls and stairway area was very dirty and some of the paint was peeling in those areas too. There was a hairdryer in a bag in the room, but it was the kind that is supposed to be mounted on the wall, which the hotel never bothered to actually attach to the wall, so it was awkward to use. There's a train nearby and the noise of it woke me up a couple of times. Not at all fancy or luxurious in any way, but fine for just a place to sleep."
