In an excellent location , lovely pool area , near the beach and easy access to the Saona island trip for $40 with drinks and food Bayahibe is a lovely fishing / tourist rustic place , so much nicer than bravaro

This hotel was beautiful and breakfast is served at the restaurant right on the beach. We will go back for sure. The pool is spectacular.

Nice clean hotel with excellent staff. Our stay included breakfast each day. The only complaint was the toilet was not working properly but was promptly repaired when reported and due to working on the property, the water must have been shut off each day resulting in air in the system providing irritating noise and sputtering.

Incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms (though nowhere at all to hang your towels and no almost no space around the sink). Modern building in the absolute centre of Bayahibe. Lovely breakfast and venue for breakfast, right on the water. The pool was closed for renovations and we were never informed, which was disappointing. But they did arrange transport to their sister hotel in Dominicus with a pool, at least.

Stayed as a single person for 1 night. The property seems to be renovated recently and it’s like the pictures shown. Clean rooms and overall a good place to stay. I gave it 4 star because the rooms are not sound proof and the room I had was close to the reception so there was a lot of noise

Breakfast included wasn’t amazing… eggs, bread/ham w fruits. Staff doesn’t all speak English. The hotel isn’t right on the beach- probably 10mins walk. Beach does have a lot of glass around / need to be careful. Great restaurants around.

The bedroom was nice, but the outlets didnt work and the bathtub water was crazy it pass from cool from hot in seconds. There was a lot of noise very early in the morning, because they were remodeling and start to work too ealy. The pool was empty and they never mentioned before arrival, so it was really frustrated and because of the remodelation there was a lot of dust and my husband develop an alergic. The place was dirty. If they clean the place and finish the remodeling, i think would be a nice place. The bedroom has ocean view, really beautiful and is located near to several restaurants with good food. The beach is 15 min walking and you can take tours to others island thar are nearby.

Place is close to Isla Saona excursions (2 blocks). Breakfast was advertised as continental but they great coffee, pan cakes, omelet, and ham and cheese sandwich. The staff at the hotel was super friendly

The staff was awesome but the property has 1 to infinity problems/issues. We were switched to 3 different rooms due to some type of non working equipment.. For example, first room the toilet was leaking on to the floor. Second room the shower apparatus was unproperly installed and was falling apart while dropping rust pieces on the shower floor. The hot water doesn't work. The continental breakfast should be called snack for a 5 year old kid. If it wasn't for the staff we would have left to another hotel.

Terrible hotel - don't even think about staying

Terrible from the moment of arrival! You have to walk down the road to their restaurant to pay by card as the one at reception doesn't work! A known problem they have that they haven't bothered to fix. The room we booked was the upgraded one and the toilet was broken, the sink tap was loose, cracked tiles, new plug sockets didn't work. The breakfast is a joke! There is only 5 tables so get up early or you don't have a seat! All different varieties of cheap plastic. Not enough staff and you need to ask for everything, no kind of organisation at all. No sign of a manager or supervisor of any sort. It's badly run hotels like these that give the area a bad name! Shame on the owner
