Food options were good, themed evenings. Lots of fruit. Bedroom and balcony overlooked the pool, which was lovely. The hotel bus shuttle is very useful. Pool areas were good, we particularly enjoyed the family pool. Plenty of sun beds in the morning when we went. We did two Barcelo experience trips which were fantastic. Staff were polite and pleasant.

Great Stay

Clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance of the yumbo and cita shopping areas, 12-15mins walk to the beach. Overall pleasant stay with friendly polite staff on reception. After 5 nights stay I felt the bedding should have been changed, that would be my only negative and it’s not a biggy!

Amazing stay at the Barcelo in Maspalomas,good animation team, lots of activities during the day ,maybe some of the reception team should be more friendly i found them a bit arogant and not to helpful.

Beautiful landscaped hotel clean and fresh, needed more tidying up throughout the day and please some more milk for our morning teas! Entertainment was good and free shuttle buses were a good touch

Lovely hotel, lots of nice pools and bars at a great price. Food was great. Me and my friend stayed half board and we got charged €2.90 for a draft soda in the canteen we thought was included with the meal which was the only annoying thing about the hotel. Also the bag room is not locked which I did not appreciate with our passports being in there etc. The rooms are great value for the money, the hotel was able to always het us taxis within minutes of asking which was helpful.

Ok hotel for the money. The staff were friendly, but the hotel facilities seemed a bit outdated. The snack bar for the all inclusive is small with a modest selection of food and drinks. The breakfast had a good selection, while the dinners were a bit more repetitive. Little sun at the main pool, had to walk up some stairs to find another pool that had better sun conditions. The hotel had a low price compared to other similar hotels, so all in all an ok experience.

Everything was good, especially the personnel But our room was facing the street and the bar, and there was little silence and peace, despite the hot weather, we could not open the window or sit on the balcony. Nice stay

Had the all inclusive food was very fresh. I love chicken but this was rarely on offer - it was always pork. The snack bar had some healthy food which was good. Enjoyed that you poured your wine from a bottle and you could take bottle to your table at meal times. Big queues at breakfast for coffee machines. Place was very clean but rooms could be noisy and let lots of light in but we improvised with putting the bed sheet over the door. Also long queue at check in and whilst I had no issues with the staff I wouldn’t say they went above and beyond. Cocktails were very good and freshly made and we had Smirnoff vodka included in the AI. I did have a nice time and it was good for the money but I would go somewhere different next time

Nice hotel and very clean modern rooms. Nice to have a choice of pools. The staff were extremely friendly from check in to check out. 2 big let downs: The inside bar ( if you can call it that) as it was literally chairs lined up in a corridor. I can see this being an issue in summer months as I can image most entertainment will be held on the stage at the middle level pool. Another let down was the food. Whilst there was a good choice of salad items and the snack bar in the day was well stocked. The hot food items in the main restaurant were very mediocre. Often having to hunt around to piece a meal together. That being said some items were of decent quality. The biggest worry of the food is the lack of labelling. If you have allergies beware! All food is labeled wrong and doesn’t correspond to what is actually out. There was one night I asked what the meat was and was told chicken. It was actually beef. So it seems the staff are unsure of what they are serving. All in all a decent stay but there are definitely areas for improvement.
