Fantastic hotel, pool and facilities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Only downside is there never seemed to be enough sunbeds and despite the hotels ‘no reserve’ policy the usual early race for the towels on the bed was rife

Lovely stay

Very beautiful, well maintained hotel. The staff are very friendly, they do their best to help or point you in the right direction. Pools were clean, warm and not too crowded. The food (breakfast) had a wide variety and was kept warm.

My 3rd stay in 8 months should tell you everything. Stunning hotel probably one of the best 5* hotels in Gran Canaria. Room is big clean and decor is beautiful. I will stay again just not too sure when. I would certainly recommend Lopesan Costa Melonares 100 percent.

The hotel is very big but very attractive with wonderful location beside the sea and very attractive grounds and pools. I wasn't keen on the daily entertainment and this was loud in my room but at least didn't go on beyond 11pm. Huge spread at breakfast buffet but cooked items bit tepid. Didn't think they should charge for parking.

2nd time and still not very good. Pools are spectacular. Rooms are good and food I would rate average if you book the buffet, which we did as it is easiest with kids, whilst food diversity is cleary above average. The area I would rate clearly one of the best areas on the isle, touristy and bit pricier though, but the place to go unless you prefer hide-outs in the mountains...

I really like the Lopesan Hotel. It was my second stay at the hotel. They really improved this year. The food got better and the rooms are very clean. The hotel is overall very stunning! Some minor remarks: - I would highly recommend to arrange a daily shuttle to the airport. - The service & food in the pool bar is horrible. Needs a lot of improvement.

Stunning place in so many ways. The many pools, the landscaping around the pools, the design of the common spaces were all wonderful. The restaurants were all wonderful too. Shops and restaurants outside the complex were great. Exceeded our expectations in all ways. Our only minuscule frustration was trying to get the tea and milk replaced in our room daily. Which was a wonderful room too. Totally happy, sorry to leave.

This hotel advertises itself as 5 stars but feels far from it. Customer service is slow and impersonal, and the place is chaotic and overcrowded with no sense of personalized experience. Definitely not worth the price or the rating. I left disappointed and frustrated. This hotel fails to deliver on the luxury it promises and should not be listed as 5 stars. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a genuine high-end experience to look elsewhere.

It’s a lovely hotel with choice of pools, spacious rooms and general areas. Beautiful gardens and outlook to the sea particularly from the infinity pool. The food was good but not the standard I’d experienced in the breakfast and dinner. There’s an absence of chefs cooking fresh dishes at the grill as you’d expect at a 5 star hotel. Also whilst there’s kettle and selection of tea in your room there’s no coffee unless you have a coffee machine.

I like the space, the room is spacious, the lounge, number of pools to choose to, available sunbeds, bed and pillows are not that homey soft but it holds. Excellent for walks around the area. Not impressed by dinner buffet. You get what you paid for.

Beautifully maintained, clean and tidy gardens, pool areas and communal areas indoors and outdoors. Peaceful but stayed outside of school holidays. Breakfast busy but pretty good variety of choices. Booked a basic Deluxe room which was a decent room but overlooking car park, I’m would like to think that if it wasn’t so busy they would have given me a better outlook.

Excellent hotel for a solo traveller looking for an indulgent and luxury break. Beautiful grounds amazing views and pools. Everything you want within walking distance. Staff are amazing. Nothing is a problem. Breakfast was amazing too as are the restaurants and pool bars. Will definetly be coming back. My happy place!

We had an exceptional family holiday at Lopesan Costa Meloneras. The resort's stunning architecture, interior design and beautifully manicured gardens created a serene atmosphere. Our spacious, clean room offered breathtaking balcony views. The expansive pool area was a highlight, with something for everyone. The lazy river was a big hit with the kids! Dining options were diverse and delicious, with an impressive breakfast buffet. The staff's attentive and friendly service made our stay memorable, including Cava on arrival. Highly recommended!

The landscaping is beautiful. The infinity pool is astounding. We stayed in a Deluxe View room, which was on the fourth floor above the open area dining terrace. The bed is firm, there are two separate closets with ample hangers and drawer space, the bathroom is very nice with a rain shower. The buffet style eating was nice, sometimes very busy, depending on when you eat or the day of the week even. It is often crowded by people perusing the myriad options. You can eat pretty healthful with a small variety of cooked vegetables and fruit, or you can gorge yourself on all the varieties of meats and breads available. There’s also at least ten varieties of dessert. Wine and beer are not that expensive if you want to add that onto your dinner. The staff are nice and greet you everywhere, and they try to help with any desires one might have. We also enjoyed a for hour spa day with various baths and saunas. And as a nice excursion, the hotel is also a partner with Cirque du Soleil, so we walked over to the big tent and watched a great circus show. It’s just overall a very nice all inclusive resort.

Wir haben sieben Nächte im Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa verbracht und eine wirklich schöne Zeit gehabt. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das stets freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das jederzeit für eine angenehme Atmosphäre sorgt. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass viele Pool-Liegen schon früh durch Handtücher reserviert wurden, obwohl die Gäste oft stundenlang nicht anwesend waren – hier wäre eine konsequentere Regelung wünschenswert. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal: Entlang der Promenade finden sich zahlreiche Geschäfte, und der weitläufige Strand ist in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden das Hotel bestimmt wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!
